Follow signs for Washington, D.C. Take the Dulles Access Road to Route 66 into Washington, D.C across the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. Stay to the left and follow signs for Whitehurst Freeway. Take Pennsylvania Avenue exit and bear right onto Pennsylvania Avenue. Hotel will be located on the right. Taxi Cab is approximately $45 - $50 USD.

From Baltimore-Washington International Airport: 33 miles

Take Baltimore-Washington Parkway towards Washington, D.C. Take exit for 495 West toward Bethesda and Northern Virginia. Take Exit #33, Connecticut Avenue South toward Chevy Chase. At DuPont Circle, move into the middle lane and exit right onto New Hampshire Avenue. Turn right at M Street. Turn left at 25th Street, NW. Turn left on Pennsylvania Avenue. The hotel will be located on the right. Taxi cab is approximately $80 - $90 USD.

Melrose Georgetown is located in the heart of Washington DC, 3 blocks from the World Bank, IFC and IMF and 8 blocks from the White House.


Melrose Georgetown is within walking distance to the Embassies of Spain, Sweden, Mexico, Germany, Australia, Brazil and Japan. We are also a short taxi ride away from Embassy Row, which is home to numerous additional Embassies. Many embassies offer guided tours with prior notification, and they're an essential starting place for any international visitors who wish to tour the White House during their visit. Currency Exchange

If you are traveling to Washington, D.C., you will need to exchange your currency for the American Dollar or US Dollar. You may exchange your money for the US Dollar at most Washington, D.C. banks. There are over five major banks within one block from Melrose Georgetown Hotel. Please note that most banks are open on weekdays (Monday - Friday) only. All banks are closed during federal holidays.
