I AM Frederick Douglass commemorates the 200th birthday of Frederick Douglass by presenting excerpts of the film Emancipation to Enslavement, a panel discussion on the legacy of Frederick Douglass, musical performances by the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) and a Douglass portrayal by LeCount Holmes, Jr. This event is presented by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities in collaboration with MOAAA, MOAA and OCTFME.
