Before Don Rickles pioneered insult comedy, the legendary Jackie Mason was slinging ridicule in 1950s New York, on his way to becoming No.63 on Comedy Central's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time. Irascible, controversial and resolutely Jewish, the fast-talking comedian, author and writer won an Emmy Award for his unforgettable portrayal of Rabbi Hyman Krustofski on The Simpsons, and has appeared in dozens more TV shows and films ranging from 30 Rock to The Jerk. Now, Mason comes to DC's Howard Theatre for a candid evening of stories and humor.
