Frances Ruffelle -- the Tony Award-winning original Eponine in Les Misérables on London's West End and Broadway -- returns to the Kennedy Center. This U.K.-born stage star has lent her show-stopping voice to the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago, the original West End production of Starlight Express and even the Eurovision Song Contest. But it's not all ensemble casts and show tunes for Ruffelle. As a solo star, she also knows her way around a Big Band tune, not to mention pop songs and standards, as you'll hear at this Barbara Cook's Spotlight series performance. Catch her on the Terrace Theater stage and see why Playbill proclaims, it's "all but impossible to not love this petite powerhouse of an entertainer!"
